The war against fear.
Those who fight
Many believe that some people no longer feel fear.
I get messages asking, "How can I manage my fear?"
But my friend, every morning I am afraid too.
Before I click publish on every thread.
I am afraid.
I'm afraid my content will be crap.
I'm afraid my content will be criticized.
And yet, I click publish anyway.
I'm afraid that I'm not good enough.
There are authors, better than me.
There are guys, richer than me.
There are creators, smarter than me.
Is my voice worth anything?
But just because some people have created amazing things doesn't mean you can't create your own.
You are not here to prove anything to anyone.
You are here to get through life the way you wanted to.
I write because it makes me happy.
And if others like it, why not, so much the better.
Your second enemy in dealing with this fear is yourself.
Your negative thoughts that take root in the depths of your being.
It is not you.
Close your mind to these discouragements.
Learn to understand that these thoughts are not you.
Every time they appear, chase them away.
Losers are not allowed in your head.
Fear can also come from judgment.
What will your loved ones think of what you do?
The truth is, many of them don't care.
And for the other side, it doesn't matter.
We are just passing through this world.
Imagine yourself at 80 years old, in your bed, going on this new adventure and imagining that you didn't do what you wanted to do because of someone else.
The weight of regret will be heavy.
Since life can only be lived once, we only have one chance to do it right.
Maybe the fear comes from the feeling of rejection.
Man being a social animal.
It is normal to be afraid of being rejected.
But then again.
It doesn't really matter.
In the digital age, you will always find detractors.
I write about getting better by doing sports.
And there's always someone who comes along and says that sports won't solve your problems.
You shouldn't focus on those who disagree with your voice but focus on your voice that needs to be expressed.
So yes, the fear is there.
But fear is another way to show that you can be brave.
When fear comes, look it in the eye.
Cut through it.
And see how pride takes over every atom of your being.
Have a nice week end.
And as usual, if you like my mails.
Send me a tiny message here or on twitter.
I’m always happy to hear feedback.
And if you want to start to write.
You’ll have one writer.
Me.
