The Last and First Step
LOCK IN
December 1.
Night still dark. Stars illuminating the shadows.
I wander, thinking. I can't sleep.
Mixture of excitement and disappointment.
Disappointment at being late for almost everything.
Excitement of entering the home stretch of this year.
Where are you with your annual resolutions?
Are you any closer to your dreams?
I am.
But not as much as I would have liked.
One of my goals has been reached (and pulverized.)
One is done?
I wanted to release a novel. I didn't release my novel but a 36,000 words mastery on writing. The genesis of the project was a small book. It turned into an encyclopedia of everything I know about writing. It blocked my progress in writing my novel. But now I can start again.Two are still possible, but I'll have to be disciplined in December to finish them.
One of the last goals seems impossible to achieve.
I wanted to develop my secondary income, but I was too focused on my main income. The good news is that I'm back on track with my main income. And I'm also back to my monthly investing routine. So it's still a victory. I've increased my income this year.
If I'm disappointed, it's because I could have done so much more. I think about all those moments when I did nothing. Playing some Moba for 16 hours a day in March. Roaming the Jungle terrorizing all the noobs with my Samurai.
But as Musashi said:
Don't regret what you have done.
There's no point thinking about the hours spent on this demon game.
And...
Now that I'm back on track.
Don't stray from the way.

There's still a month to give it my all. December could be the perfect launchpad for the new year.
Sharper, hungrier and ready to dominate 2025.
Whatever the start, we can sprint for a month. Channel the inner savage. 31 days to find the right wave. Stop hitting snooze on our potential. Make the effort
How we finish this month can set the tone for next year. December is just the warmup. Because 2025 can be bigger.
A few simple rules to set yourself on the right trajectory for 2025
Be ready for change
Responsible for everything that happens to us
Define exactly where you want to go. Write down your goals.
Get rid of everything that screws up your dopamine receptors. (videogames with rewards system, shorts video, corn, alcohol…)
7 hours sleep (minimum)
A short cardio session a day (if you don’t know where to start, 37 minutes cardio workout on YT)
A few pages of reading a day
Eat natural, non-processed food
No artificial source of dopamine until the to-do list is completed.
New year, new you is BS.
The decade plan is underway.
The mission is clear.
This last month is a blessing to end the year on a high note.
I've written a little prayer for all of us. We'll meet again in a month to ring in the New Year together and celebrate this year's victories.
We still have a few battles to fight.
My to-do list for today was slay.
I'm going to switch off for a while and start season 2 of Arcane.
