Self Sabotage
Many of us sabotage ourselves without even realizing it.
How do we do it?
By feeding on toxic and negative energy on a daily basis.
YouTube videos, articles, instagram content, tik tok ....
We are the average of our 5 best friends.
But what about the 5 pieces of content you consume the most?
Do you really think they can't influence you and shape your mind?
We don't even realize that we are brainwashing ourselves.
I'm not saying that a content is necessarily toxic, it's just that it's the dose that makes the poison. You have to be careful not to get into an unhealthy loop of consuming one type of content.
I had my own sins, I used to watch a lot of starcraft 2 competitions online. I found it exciting and often found myself sleeping at 2am to follow the world competitions.
I also used to watch a lot of soccer, in the end all those wasted hours could have been better spent.
You need to :
- remove toxic feeds
- replace them with inspiring feeds that bring you closer to your goals.
How to identify content that is harmful to you?
If it's content you consume daily:
Ask yourself
"Is this content moving you closer to your goals?"
Also think about the emotions it brings to you.
If it's negative emotions, if you don't have enough time to do the important things in your life... It's not good for you.
You need to consume content that inspires you to become better.
Time to clean your feed.
