Let's play with your brain again
What perception can teach us
A few days ago, I told you about Kanisza's triangle and how your brain can distort reality.
Today, I would like to go one step further and tell you about Rubin's vase.
Take a good look at this shape.
What do you see?
It all depends on how your brain processes the information.
Some people will see a vase first.
Others will see two faces first.
And once you have processed the inormation.
You can see one or the other.
Hardly both at the same time.
This experiment is interesting from a cognitive point of view.
But also philosophical.
It can happen in life that we are so focused on one view of a situation that we cannot see that this situation offers another angle that shows us something totally different.
As long as we decide to see only a vase ... we see only a vase.
What when we understand and decide that there is another thing we finally get the truth.
These words, on this Monday morning, may seem strange.
But I hope they will resonate with some of you.
Whatever your situation, remember to step back.
The solution may be hiding in another angle.
Just a short post this Monday morning.
Have a great week everyone and see you tomorrow!
