Good training is the key
Train at the edge of your comfort zone
How do you think the experts train?
Many think that game day is the most important.
But this is not true.
Experts train with much heavier loads for months to make sure they are ready for the day it counts.
They demand superhuman efforts from their bodies before that day to make sure that their bodies will be able to go the distance.
If they are training for a marathon.
They will run very long distances several times in training.
Many will even run training marathons.
Muhammad Ali chose the best sparring partners he could find to prepare for his fights. He didn't train, he entered the arena before the fight.
He took boxers who had the same qualities as his next opponent and sometimes even better.
Michael Phelps swam insane distances every day.
Kipchuge ran countless miles a week.
Once you've proven to yourself that you can do that in training.
The mindset changes.
I don't know if you have a big day coming up.
But no matter what you're training for: the biggest challenges come during training.
Always do session where you train at the edge of your comfort zone.
This is where growth happens.
So go for it.
Give it your all.
Face your biggest fears so that the day you need to face it, it's already defeated.
