A Dream
Tim is 18 years old.
The strange age where we are both an adult and still a child.
He has just graduated.
Eager to meet his new life.
His parents put pressure on him, he must choose a path.
It will be medical studies.
6 months later and $15,000 less for his parents.
Tim feels bad, he hates his classes, he hates his life.
He doesn't want to go down this road.
He gathers all his courage and announces the bad news.
His parents, furious tell him he can't stay if he doesn't study.
He left home with enough money for several months.
He looked for a small apartment, rationed his food, didn't go out and devoted himself to his future business: Tim had an idea.
He saw instagrammers and thinks that internet is magic.
If he is smart enough, he will make it.
Tim is motivated to succeed, he works relentlessly on his projects.
He does not forget to train physically and reads countless books to progress quickly.
After months, Tim has 1567 followers on instagram.
Not that bad right ?
And launches his first product: zero sales.
He's disappointed but maybe his product wasn't good enough.
He works on a second one without stopping.
He continues to post on social networks but he can feel there is no traction.
His second product is a failure: zero sales.
To make sure it's not bad luck, he launches a third product that takes him weeks to create: zero sales.
Tim's confidence is at an all-time low.
After all, maybe he is a failure.
Maybe hid dad prophecy will be true
"You are a fool Tim and you won't succeed alone at 18 years old."
He didn't want to prove his dad wrong, he just wanted to live his own life.
Poor Tim is in trouble.
His money is almost gone.
He looks for a job.
He ends up serving food in a local fast food restaurant.
With each dish he serves, he breathes, "I fucking hate my life."
Tim is on the verge of cracking, but he knows he's not allowed to.
So he keeps going.
His parents no longer speak to him.
He have near no money and no support.
But one day: a sale, after 12 months.
Not a big sale, but a sale nonetheless.
Something clicked in his head.
If he could make one sale, he can make 10 - 100 - 1000.
Then he decides to keep his job until he can leave it.
He will take the hate he feels and turn it into something better.
And Tim, after more than two years of work, will finally be able to start earning income and live off of it.
Every day, millions of Tim's are born.
But for one successful TIm, 9 don't make it.
Some Tim will give up at the first product.
Some Tim won't even make it to this one.
Other Tim will give up after a long time.
And the successful Tim are the one who never gives up until they succeeds.
